What to visit in Vancouver Island - Uvanu International

Carmanah Walbran Provincial Park also houses an unaltered ecosystem, and cedars over 1000 years old. This area offers protection to different forest ecosystems. Nature in its purest form.

Tahsish – Kwois Provincial Park This provincial park is located in the northwest of Vancouver Island. Access to the park has an ecological reserve, two lakes, and a canyon. You can see bald eagles, especially in the salmon season. It is one of the largest parks on the island.

Checleset Bay Ecological Reserve

The ecological reserves in BC are areas in which the natural ecosystems of species, plants and animals are cared for and protected.

Most reserves allow access provided that destructive activities such as nature observation, hiking, or photography are not carried out.

Checleset Bay was established with the objective of providing quality marine habitat for sea otters and protect their extinction.

Brooks Peninsula Provincial Park

This provincial park is the only one not affected by the last ice age. This fact makes it an unparalleled place for scientific study since there are unique geological formations and a wide variety of rare species (plants).
