Another interesting thing is that in British Columbia all the co-op must be paid. So you will work full-time and will be paid the second part of the program. While you might have the opportunity to work part-time during the first part (while you’re going to school).

 

PROGRAMS:

Hospitality and Business Skills Practicum Certificate. (3 months study +3 practical months)

This program aims to expand the professional possibilities of students, combining studies of Hospitality and Business. The duration of the program includes 3 months of study and 3 months of Co-op practices.

The mandatory courses of this program are:

  • Business Communication
  • Business English

In addition to the mandatory subjects, the student must choose 2 courses from the following list:

  • Managing Housekeeping Operations
  • Hospitality Facilities and Design
  • Managing Service In Food and Beverage Operations
  • Convention Marketing

  • Fundamentals Of Designation
  • Management and Marketing

Co-op Diploma in Management (6 months study + 6 practical months)

This program is designed to train the student in the theory and practice of Tourism and Hospitality Management (Hotel and Tourism management). Acquiring both knowledge the student will have the necessary skills to compete successfully in this competitive global market.
