Acsenda School of Management (ASM) is a private post-secondary institution located in downtown Vancouver offering specialized undergraduate degrees and diplomas linked to business careers and professional pathways.

With small class sizes, an international business focus, and attention to students’ needs both inside and outside of the classroom, Acsenda attracts students from all over the world.

ASM is focused on pathways to careers in business and management. As students earn their degrees at Acsenda, they may also earn credit towards a professional designation related to their career goals.

Faculty members at Acsenda are experienced business professionals in addition to having the academic and professional credentials related to the areas in which they teach. They know the students in their classes and are involved in supporting various student clubs and other activities outside of the classroom.

Acesnda offers 2 Bachelor Degrees:

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA):

A four-year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, offered since 2004, is the core academic program at Acsenda School of Management.

The BBA is a four-year undergraduate business program that prepares students to meet the challenges of globalization, innovation and competitiveness. Concentrations within the BBA provide options for in-depth study in a business subject that relates to your career objectives. Our BBA graduates have the knowledge, skills and attributes that have led them to careers in international business, marketing, accounting, human resources management and other fields of business.

Program Length

The BBA degree program is a 120-credit, four-year degree program. Each course is three credits for a total of 40 courses required for graduation. Classes are offered every quarter, year-round. Students can normally take four courses per term. It is therefore possible to complete the degree in 2.5 years, by taking courses every term without a break. Students may apply to take one “approved designated term break” out of four academic terms per year, provided they have completed two consecutive terms after starting their program of study.

  • Bachelor of Management Hospitality (BHM)

The Bachelor of Hospitality Management (BHM), our newest degree offering, is a four-year direct entry program that is uniquely designed to meet the needs of the industry.

Hospitality Management is a global business. Through a business focus, the Bachelor of Hospitality Management integrates leadership and management skills with key strategic and operational skills sought by today’s industry leaders. The program will equip you with the digital, management and business background the industry now demands.

As a BHM student, you will complete a six-month internship program that will enrich your classroom learning and prepare you for a leadership track in the hospitality industry.

Program Length

The BHM is a 123-credit (39 courses), four-year degree program. There are 37 courses that are 3 credits each and 2 courses that are 6-credits each for a total of 39 courses required for graduation. Courses are offered every quarter, year-round. A full course load is four courses per term. Students are considered full time if they take a minimum of 3 courses per term. Students may apply to take one “approved designated term break” out of four academic terms per year, provided they have completed two consecutive terms after starting their program of study.
